Roll on Spring!

Bored with Winter now and not a single flake of snow here in our part of the UK. In fact no snow last year either! Just cold and wet.
Captured this a couple of years ago in our local woods.

Biggest spider in the world?!!

"Maman", a spectacular bronze sculpture by artist Louise Bourgeois displayed at the bottom of the Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo.
There are a total of six dotted around the world though the one originally at The Tate Modern in London is no longer on display as it was sold to the National Gallery of Canada in Ottowa in 2005.
This shot from below the sculpture looking up at the Mori Tower was also an experiment in HDR.

The Temppeuliaukio Church, Helsinki

The Temppeuliaukio Church in Helsinki, Finland. Also known as The Church of the Rock, this amazing building was excavated and built directly into the solid rock. It is bathed in natural light from the domed roof and the natural rock walls give it excellent acoustics.  Well worth a visit when in Helsinki.

Hong Kong

Just created a Hong Kong page. First three images are there with more to follow. These are from a few years ago just to get the pages in place then we'll add more recent work.
The great thing about Hong Kong is the contrasting experiences everywhere you look.  One moment your immersed in the hustle and bustle of the city and next you turn a corner and find utter peace and tranquility such as the Nan Lian Garden.
